Dust, chips, and production waste are usually also reusable materials or fuels, and therefore have to be stored for further processing. Various silo systems are available, depending on the type and quantity of the material: textile silo, steel silo, aluminium silo, concrete silo and containers. Explosion protection is necessary for flammable material.
